Before It’s Too Late

A new mural going up near the City of Miami Cemetery is meant to be viewed through your smartphone. A group of artists are creating a 96-by-14-foot work that’s designed to show the possible effects of climate change. Viewers will be able to interact with the art when it’s viewed through an augmented reality app called Miami Murals AR.

It’s all kicking off on Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight, as viewers can watch artists paint the mural live. Even though the subject matter is serious, the “Miami Murals: Climate Awakening Prototype with Augmented Reality” event will include food trucks, music more. Get all the details for the free event at 1805 N Miami Ave here.
