Drake’s onetime condo in downtown Miami just sold for $2.3M

It’s in one of his videos (not “God’s Plan”)

Drake super fans might recognize this place: the rapper’s former two-story Miami condo that appeared in his 2011 “I’m On One” video just changed hands. It’s under contract closing today for $2.3M.

The seller is Mario Chalmers, an ex-Miami Heat player/current Memphis Grizzlies point guard, who sold the five bedroom and five bathroom Marquis residence to a buyer represented by John Sandberg with the Sandberg Nortmann Group at Douglas Elliman.

The 5,475 square-foot custom combined high-floor residence is all about its views, with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a den/game room, a private foyer, a large terrace, and an open kitchen equipped with Viking and Sub-Zero appliances.

Chalmers bought this place back in 2012, a year after Drake filmed that video — and of course now Drake’s videos in Miami are on an even grander scale, as seen in the hit “God’s Plan” where he single-handedly gave out $1 million all over the city.
