The Zaha Hadid-designed ultra-luxury condo development One Thousand Museum is getting a starring role on a PBS construction doc. Impossible Builds spotlights the world’s most ambitious, complex and technologically advanced construction projects, and now Miami’s own futuristic tower will be featured as part of this year’s episodes.
One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects will be featured in the first episode of the show, which premieres Wednesday, February 7 at 10 p.m. on WBPT and Sunday, February 11 at 10 p.m. on WXEL.
You’ll be able to follow along with the construction of one of the most complex skyscrapers ever to make it off the drawing board. It will be an even closer look than these vertigo-inducing Instagrams.
“It’s like the outside of a scorpion,” is how the exterior of One Thousand Museum is described in the longer trailer of the show that you can check out here before the show premieres.
