Where the City of West Palm Beach’s former city hall once stood will soon be home to a $145 million mixed-use development, the South Florida Business Journal reports. The city sold the 3.5-acre site at 200 Second Street for $11.5 million, clearing the way for a 435,000-square-foot-project from Navarro Lowrey.
The development will include retail, waterfront restaurants, a public park, a parking garage, apartments, and a 208-room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. The project is slated for completion in 2019.
Here’s a video of the city hall’s demolition, which happened in February according to the South Florida Business Journal.
