Starting today (Friday), I-95, 95 Express, State Road 112, and I-195 will experience a list of road closures in Miami until April 16. The Florida Department of Transportation released a list of alternate driving routes.
April 6 through April 7
All northbound 95 Express Lanes from State Road 112 to the Golden Glades Interchange will be closed from 11 pm to 11 am April 6, Friday through April 7, Saturday.
All southbound 95 Express Lanes from the Golden Glades Interchange to State Road 112 will remain closed from 11 pm to 11 am April 6, Friday through April 7, Saturday.
Unfortunately there are no alternative routes provided for this weekend’s road closures.
April 9 through April 12
All northbound 95 Express Lanes from SR 112 to the Golden Glades Interchange will be closed from 9 pm to 5:30 am Monday, April 9 through Thursday, April 12.
All southbound 95 Express Lanes from the Golden Glades Interchange to SR 112 will be closed starting at 9 pm to 5:30 am Monday, April 9 through Thursday, April 12.
The northbound I-95 ramp to westbound State Road 112 will be closed 9 pm to 5:30 am Tuesday, April 10.
Alternate driving route: Drive north on I-95, then exit off the ramp at NW 62 Street. Turn left at NW 62 Street and get on the southbound I-95 ramp. Exit at the eastbound I-195 ramp.
Two to three southbound lanes from NW 69 Street to NW 42 Street will be closed between 9 pm and 5:30 am Tuesday, April 10 through Thursday, April 12. The third travel lane may be closed at 10:30 pm if necessary, says the official FDOT press release.
The NW 62 Street ramp to southbound I-95 will be closed from 9 pm to 5:30 am Wednesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 12.
Alternate driving route: You can drive north on NW 7 Avenue. Then make a right turn onto NW 79 Street to access the southbound entrance ramp of I-95.
Two to three southbound lanes from NW 42 Street to NW 79 Street will be closed between 9 pm and 5:30 am Tuesday, April 10 through Thursday, April 12. The third travel lane may be closed at 10:30 pm if necessary.
The northbound I-95 exit ramp to NW 62 Street be closed between 9 pm and 5:30 am Monday, April 9 through Wednesday, April 11.
Alternate driving route: Drivers can exit at NW 79 Street/NW 81 Street, then make a left at NW 81 Street. You can also make a left at NW 7 Avenue to connect with NW 62 Street.
The NW 62 Street entrance ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed from 9 pm to 5:30 am Tuesday, April 10 through Thursday, April 12.
The NW 69 Street entrance ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed from 9 pm to 5:30 am Wednesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 12.
The northbound I-95 exit ramp to NW 79 Street/NW 81 Street will be closed between 9 pm and 5:30 am April 12, Thursday.
Alternate driving route: Drivers can exit at the NW 95 Street ramp and make a left. Then turn left at NW 7 Avenue to connect with NW 79 Street.
From April 13 through April 16
All northbound 95 Express Lanes from SR 112 to the Golden Glades Interchange will be closed starting April 13 at 11 pm to 11 am and will continue April 14 from 10:30 pm to 5:30 am on Sunday.
All southbound 95 Express Lanes from the Golden Glades Interchange to SR 112 will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 11 am and Sunday between 10:30 pm and 5:30 am.
Two to three southbound lanes on I-95 from NW 69 Street to NW 42 Street will be closed Friday and Saturday between 11 pm to 11 am and 10:30 pm to 5:30 am Sunday.
The NW 62 Street ramp to southbound I-95 will be closed Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 between 11 pm and 11 am. The street will also be closed Sunday from 10:30 pm to 5:30 am.
Alternate driving route: Drive north on NW 7 Avenue, then turn right on NW 79th Street so you can access the southbound entrance ramp of I-95.
Two northbound lanes on I-95 from NW 42 Street to NW 79 Street will be closed Friday, April 13 from 11 pm to 11 am. The lanes will also be closed Sunday, April 15 between 10:30 pm and 5:30 am. A third lane from NW 42 Street to NW 79 Street will be closed from 11 pm to 11 am and between 10:30 pm and 5:30 pm Sunday.
The northbound entrance ramp to I-95 for NW 69 Street will be closed on Friday, April 13 starting 11 pm to 11 am.
Alternate driving route: Drivers can turn right on NW 5 Court and then make a left at NW 71 Street. Turn right on NW 7 Avenue, then make another turn on NW 79 Street to enter the northbound entrance of I-95.
The northbound I-95 exit ramp to NW 79 Street/NW 81 Street will be closed Friday, April 13, from 11 pm to 11 am. The ramp will also be closed Sunday, April 15 form 10:30 pm to 5:30 am.
Alternate driving route: You can take the NW 95 Street exit ramp and make a left turn. Once you approach NW 7 Avenue, make a left turn to connect with NW 79 Street.
