Another day, another Major League Baseball player lists his Miami home for sale in Miami-Dade County.

First, it was the Pinecrest home of MLB star Placido Polanco appearing on the market for $4.395 million.

Now, its the Mei Condominium penthouse owned by Yonder Alonso that’s listed for $1.995 million.

Alonso is the first baseman for the Cleveland Indians and has played for Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners throughout his career.

The 5875 Collins Avenue property is listed through Jeff Miller of Brown Harris Stevens Miami, the No.2 agent based by sales volume in Miami Beach.

Despite putting the penthouse on the market, Alonso can’t stop raving about it.

“When I first moved to Miami I fell in love with the beach and the tranquil ambiance that coastal living offers,” Alsono says. “This penthouse reflects my dream of the Miami lifestyle and I hope the new owner(s) enjoy it as much as I have.”

Miller agrees.

“Mei offers an impeccable lifestyle with upscale amenities, making it an attractive residence, situated in the heart of Miami Beach. This particular penthouse boasts the best views in the building, allowing you to watch the sunset from your balcony,” Jeff Miller says.

Upon entering the chic, 1,556-square foot penthouse you’ll understand why both men can’t stop talking about it.

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer oceanfront, intracoastal, and city skyline views which are also visible from the terraces that are located on both levels.

There’s also two bedrooms located upstairs and two-and-a-half-bathrooms.

The kitchen and living room merge into one open space while hanging light fixtures and recessed lighting illuminate the rooms.

The kitchen is filled with high-end stainless-steel appliances like a wine cooler, espresso maker, and a built-in refrigerator.

Renowned interior designer Briggs Solomon designed the modern duplex penthouse.

The penthouse’s amenities includes a tea lounge, library, spa, steam room, and a smart technology equipped fitness center.

Mei Condominiums also offers additional perks such as concierge services, beach access, pool, and food and beverage services.

The penthouse’s monthly maintenance fee is $2,458. Alonso paid $22,426 in property taxes last year.
