The City of Miami in partnership with Live Healthy Little Havana is hosting it’s second annual Live Healthy Little Havana Bike and Walk Event, an all ages, four-mile bike and walk trek throughout Little Havana parks.
City officials invite the community to experience the beautiful, green parks Little Havana has to offer such as Jose Marti, Sewell, Marlins, Henderson, and Riverside parks.
The bike ride will be held June 2 from 9 am to 2 pm, starting at Jose Marti Park, located at 351 Southwest 4 Avenue.
The press release notes that safety tips will be given to participants along with access to a bounce house and free bicycle rentals.
The event focuses on healthy eating and working out and will also feature Zumba classes, paella, and a free raffle prize drawing.
Magic City residents have taken a liken to riding bicycles—during National Bike Month, Lime, a bike-sharing service, reached 100,000 rides in Miami.
