Jennifer Lopez’s favorite hairstylist, Oribe Canalas isn’t immune. The hairstylist and buyer Zaki Amin bought a charming Old Spanish-style mansion located at 5645 North Bay Road.

The 5210-square-foot home was expanded in 2005 but has kept many of its original interior decor such as 1931 cathedral beamed ceilings and a mantel stone fireplace.

Built in 1931, the property features 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, including wall-to-floor ceilings, Andalusia stone floors, Mahogany doors and windows, and wood accents.

The master suite’s bathroom features mosaic tile and onyx baths gives outdoor views. It includes a tub, a steam shower, and a vanity station. It also includes two walk-in closets and a terrace overlooking the backyard.

All bedrooms have bathrooms and large closets.

The first floor has a living room, kitchen, a dining room, and a family room with groin vault ceilings.

The two-story mansion has a sprawling staircase.

The backyard has a pool, a summer kitchen, and an outdoor shower.

The property’s tax cost $27,537 annually.

The home was listed by Nelson Gonzalez and brokered through Allison Turk—both of EWM Realty International.
