Casa de Mayan

A waterfront estate in Fort Lauderdale Beach once belonging to 1970s teenage TV heartthrob David Cassidy is once again up for sale.

Cassidy, who passed away in November at age 67, auctioned off the six-bedroom property in 2015 for $2.067 million. The home’s new owners, Thomas White and Scott Watkins, renovated the house and converted it into a vacation rental dubbed Casa de Mayan for its views of the Mayan River.

The 7,000-square-foot home at 1600 S. Ocean Drive features a heated pool, hot tub, and an outdoor kitchen. White tells the Wall Street Journal that Cassidy’s personal memorabilia, such as autographed photos and throw pillows bearing the Cassidy family crest, are also included with the sale.

The late celebrity’s former home is reportedly seeking $3.9 million.
