A vacant stretch of Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove will be the site of a newly unveiled five-story, mixed-use development. Named ‘Metronomic Place’ after its developer Metronomic, Inc., the upcoming building will deliver 5,000 square feet of office space, 3,200 square feet of ground-floor retail, and a 44-room All-Suite Hotel.
Designed by local architecture firm CLAD with interiors by One Design Build, the project features metal, concrete, and wood materials for a mostly contemporary vibe with some mid-century tropical influences. The project’s hotel rooms are on the more spacious side and include large terraces, full kitchenettes, and access to a landscaped green roof with a pool deck.
Metronomic acquired the vacant property at 3280 Grand Avenue—formerly a car wash—for $4.1 million, reports The Real Deal. It hopes to break ground in mid September and targets a late 2019 completion date. The company plans to occupy at least half of the on-site office space and make the Grand Avenue development its new corporate headquarters.
Metronomic is also behind the nearby Grove Palms single family housing development as well as an upcoming mixed-use project at 3102 Commodore Plaza, known as Commodore Place.
