The Biltmore 'Al Capone' Suite

Actually the second largest suite at the Biltmore, this room, which is knicknamed the 'Al Capone Suite' because it was legendarily a favorite of the mobster, is more architecturally lavish than the hotel's largest suite, just above it. Check out the hand painted ceilings in the two story living room, the large fireplace, the chandelier, and other architectural details throughout.

The St. Regis Presidential Suite

The 2,800 square feet St. Regis Presidential Suite, on the hotel's 24th floor, is reached by private elevator. It comes with sweeping ocean views, two bedrooms, a huge living room, butler service, dressing rooms, two kitchens (one for you, one for the butler), a powder room, and a balcony that just doesn't quit.

The Fontainebleau Sorrento Penthouse

The two level oceanfront Sorrento Suite at the Fontainebleau, on top of its Sorrento Tower, is spread out over 5,500 square feet of interior space and 4,400 square feet exterior terrace, including a private pool and Jacuzzi. Also in the suite: 5 bedrooms, steam showers, a laundry room, a full kitchen with Sub-zero and Meile appliances, and a wine fridge, a 60" flat screen television in the living room and a 50" flat screen television in the master bathroom.

The Setai Penthouse Suite

The 10,000 square foot full-floor penthouse suite at the Setai contains such superlative extras as a private pool, a music room with Steinway piano, four bedrooms, and two living rooms. Wasn't this room the subject of a Kim Kardashian freakout once?

The Raleigh Esther Williams Suite

The 990 square feet Esther Williams suite is named after the glamazon swimming goddess who graced the Raleigh in its early years. This suite is popular with fahion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who stays here when he's in town. (Or at least he did with Andre Balazs still owned the place) Actually only the second best suite at the hotel, its unclear whether the biggest room - the 6,000 square foot penthouse - is still available for rental.

Mandarin Oriental, Oriental Suite

The Oriental Suite at the Mandarin Oriental contains a large living room with piano, a dining room that seats eight, a media room with theater-style seating, a bedroom, and a kitchenette. A long balcony runs the entire length of the suite.

The 2,830 square foot Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons has three bedrooms and a large great room, a dining room that seat eight, and a pantry directly accessible from the hallway. (so the help can come and go quite unnoticed) The master bathroom is, as well, suitably lavish.
