Days away from completing the first month of 2017, we thought it would be interesting to take a look at the priciest single-family homes sold thus far.

The city's five biggest sales in January have combined for nearly $7 million under the asking price, as we learned with the assistance of Redfin. Here they are mapped out, led by a slick $13 million tropical contemporary in the Venetian Islands, featuring elite bay views to the west.
